Don Oates is a consultant who works with entrepreneurs to help develop and refine their organization´s strategy and direction, initiate growth, and bring value to customers.  Prior to his current role, Don served as the Vice President of Operations at Southern Tide, a Greenville, South Carolina based manufacturer and wholesaler of men´s sportswear.  He also worked as an Associate with Seraph Group, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.  Earlier in his career, Don spent three years overseeing global operations and outsourcing for consumer product companies, with particular experience in manufacturing and business development in China.  Don received a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from Furman University and has studied at East China Normal University in Shanghai, China.
